This week has just been very very eeeeevil...I had the dreaded mock exams which even though I revised for...just seem to be as bad as they were last year >.<;;; and I'll admit, this year I actually did try and revise properly *nods*
So where to begin with the beginning of the evilness of the week?
On Monday I had two exams...Classical Civilisation Epic and Music Harmony. I thought I was prepared for Class Civ...I studied all my close study books for the Aeneid and I also made sure I knew exactly what happened in each book...come the first section of the exam, I had to choose between A1 or A2...A1...DREAM QUESTION!!!!! I knew that section soooo well....BUT the first question asked me to explain the situation in THE ODYSSEY >_____<...I had forgotten to study the Odyssey in detail so I was stuck with A2...which I disliked so much...I really didn't care about the differences between Nausicaa and Dido...I cared about prophecy *cries* why is life so unfair to me? And Music Harmony was no better...that chorale we were given was sooo evil, all the modulations were hard to decide...I wasn't even past the first cadence when the second candence was like...what key am I in? Not only that...but "learn iib, v7, 1 and you'll be fine" -_-;
Half of those cadences couldn't even fit that pattern...nor would they fit 1c, v, 1 so I was like screwed >.<; In the end I decided to just see what chords fitted into the cadence and wrote them down...I probably got it wrong, but if they don't give a cadence with the typical Bach chords...what am I supposed to do *cries*...I can see I'm going to be in soooo much trouble when the results come.
Tuesday...Chemistry was a nightmare >.<...I spent more time learning Dr Gray's stuff...and guess what came up? 1/10 of Dr Gray's stuff and 9/10 of Dr Nicolas' organic chemistry...I did study my reaction mechanisms...but under the pressure I foooooorgot it aaaaall >.<;;; And then when we came to Dr Gray's benzene reactions...the one reaction mechanism I lost in my notes came up >.<;;;, I knew all of friedel crafts...but what had to come up? NITRATION *sobs*
Thursday...Classical Civilsation Art and Architecture...I was NOT prepared for an essay...we haven't even done practise essays before...or been told we have to beware of an essay...so whatever I wrote in my essay is probably crap because I wasn't aware of it...I don't think any of us were....EEEEEEEVIL TEACHER!!!!!! I don't know why...but the world is SOOOOO against me. My favourite statues came up in section A...but i couldn't do the question cos I couldn't remember who sculpted Eirene *cries*...that question I can guarantee I would have done better on than the question of the Artemisian Zeus >.<;;;
Well now...I've got Classical Civilisation Tragedy and Music Listening and Anthology to go *sighs*...I'm going to die when all these are over.
Another thing which I'm coming to terms with...is I'm not tall lol. I'm only 163-4cm (I measured it with a tape measure lol)...I think maybe it's cos I wear a lot of high heels etc that I look and seem taller...but I'm not, I'm not short, but I'm not tall...so I'm medium (or does that only work with sizes). So that means that my twinny twin twin twin twin twin twin twin is extremely short haha ^____^!
On a happy note...after I finish my mock exams I can start to prepare for my singing to the class...I chose to do the song "Crystal" from Tenimyu...it's such a sad song and I love it so much, I think it would be nice for the class to hear...and I can also listen to my new CDs which should be coming soon after 17th January ^______^ soooo excited can't wait *in love with preview of Dream Catcher*
I watched the Idol DVDs of Shirota Yuu, Kamakari Kenta, Saitoh Takumi and Kato Kazuki. I think Shirotan's freaked me out slightly when he started it by cooking scrambled egg...especially when he put tomato ketchup on it at the end but I sooooo loved his car *____*! Kamakari Kenta...never ever let him decorate your house, no matter how much you love him >.<;;;;, Saito Takumi...has he never seen food before?!?!?! O_o I think that mad me feel slightly sick watching him devour all that sea food, and I almost fell off my chair when I saw him cross-dress ^^;;;. Kato Kazuki's I felt was probably the most sane...however I was disappointed when he got knocked out in the boxing match so easily >.<;; *sighs*
I've also been watching Puri Puri D very slowly...never thought I'd be one to like it...lol males cross-dressing and slight suggestion of BL...yet I'm really enjoying it...and I really want to see Hanazono Otoya and Mikoto to get together...(WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME ANIKIIIIIII-SAAAAAAAAN?) Speaking of Hanazono Otoya...Nakamura Yuichi *___*...he's sooooo cute and so young, not to mention his singing voice in Episode 5 was so goooooood...he should release a single!
Ok, I think I'm going to go and amuse myself with Puri Puri D now ^____^!
